The app is not just limited to printing; it also offers scan-related features that enable scanning to a smart device or to Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive. Moreover, it has projection-related features that enable users to project documents and images on a smart device or in Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive to a RICOH projector and the RICOH Interactive Whiteboard.

RICOH Smart Device Connector is a versatile app that offers other features as well. It allows user authentication by using a smart device, automatically searches for available machines on the same network, and supports printing of Microsoft Office documents.
