Rhythia is a premium arcade title for PC by developer Capo Games. It is a rhythm game that has players aim their mouse to hit musical notes instead of mashing buttons. They will target oncoming blocks and hit them just at the right moment as they pass, and aim to build a massive combo count to the tune of fast-paced electronic tracks. 

Speed and precision 

In Rhythia, you will embark on a musical journey on a three-by-three grid as blocks come hurling at you at varying speeds depending on the song playing. You will aim with your mouse and hit them as they pass, quickly transitioning to the next block in quick succession. The left panel displays your combo count and accuracy, while the right side will show your score and how many blocks you missed. 

You can also customize the color themes, grid shapes, and background effects to suit your liking. You can also check individual track stats and aim for the highest scores you can to be included at the top of the global leaderboards. Now, it should go without saying, but Rhythia is a very challenging game, and some will find the difficulty curve too high. 

A dizzying challenge 

Overall, if you’re a fan of cult classic Osu! game and are looking for a similar experience, Rhythia is a solid contender worth checking out. It builds upon the cult favorite in terms of visuals and presentation, and simplifies the mechanics to make it accessible to more gamers. Don’t go thinking it’s easier, though.
