Reversi is a strategy board game for two players, played on an 8×8 board. It is the reverse of the classic game of Checkers. The players take turns placing discs on the board, with the goal of having the most discs turned to display their color when the last playable empty square is filled.

Reversi has several variations. One of them is called "Sudden Death", where the player who has the fewest remaining discs at the end of the game is eliminated immediately. Another one is called "Classic Reversi", where the player who has the fewest remaining discs is eliminated after a set number of games.
