Though the game is supported by its own version of the Unreal Engine, many users complained that it is not able to run well with the newly-released, Resident Evil UHD Ultimate Trainer. Even after making use of the latest graphics and other tweaks made by game enthusiasts, some users still found that the game's crashing problem occurs. It would seem that the issue lies in the game's data file.

A number of users had the assumption that the game's data would get corrupt whenever they install or uninstall programs from the Internet. This is because the game's system files tend to get corrupted when these programs are removed from the system and players would then be unable to play their favorite games. So when the game would suddenly crash, it could be due to this reason alone.

The developer of the Resident Evil Ultimate Trainer has acknowledged the fact that the problem may have stemmed from its use of the Unreal Engine. To be able to resolve the issue, he had altered the game's file to ensure that it works properly with the latest version of the game. Furthermore, he said that he would provide a patch for users who would have bought the Ultimate Trainer to allow them to play the game without having problems using the buttons or moving the characters.
