The classic zombie-themed action game returns with a completely different look. Resident Evil 2 is coming back with all new campaigns that fans and gamers would enjoy. In relation to this, app developer BeCompany7 created a reference application that promises to walk players through the entire game. However, Resident Evil 2 / Biohazard Re: 2 Guide comes with content that lacks any sort of guide. 

New and Improved Game

Resident Evil 2 underwent a complete makeover to bring fans an amazing look of their favorite game. The game developers have gathered together a collection of your Resident Evil memories and mixed it with modern design and technology. It still follows the basic plot of the original game that was published in 1988 and shares characters and setting. However, the resemblance ends there. 

The game stars fan-favorite characters, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Leon is a rookie cop, and Clair is a college student. Both characters had the worst luck, as they happen to land in the zombie-infested Raccoon City. Both will undergo action-packed adventure filled with zombies all throughout the game.

Resident Evil 2 is divided into two campaigns, one for Leon and one for Claire. Players can choose either to play as Leon or Claire and guide both characters. Both campaigns start at the same location, but once you have finished the level, Leon and Claire will head down to their separate agenda. 

The game is pure Resident Evil in design, filled with puzzles and plot branches that players will love to discover.

Not Enough Guide Content

Resident Evil 2 / Biohazard Re: 2 Guide is created with the aim to help players win the entire game with little difficulty. The game’s APK file is available for download in the game’s official website and the Softonic app.

The app comes with a very simple interface. On the homepage, you can see five buttons, three of which directs you to the game guides. The remaining two leads you to the pages where you can download the game. 

While the app comes with an easy-to-navigate look, users may find the contents lacking. There wasn’t much that you can see except for a short background of the game. The app does not walk players through the paces of the game. If you wish to know more about the game, you might need to look for other guide apps or search it online using your browser. 

Additionally, the download pages do not contain anything, so if you are looking to install Resident Evil 2 into your device, you will need to download it from the game’s official website or the app stores. 

Good Intention, Bad Execution

Resident Evil 2 / Biohazard Re: 2 Guide may have had a good intention, but the app just not meet users’ expectations. The app, while simple and easy to use, does not contain much information. If the developers release an update containing a more thorough guide and other improvements, this app will probably be worth downloading.
