In order to save the hundreds of hours I spent leveling up and customizing my character in vanilla Fallout 4, I decided to download a few mods that allowed me to Rename Anything in the game. It was really cool because I could now go and name my food, equipment and even my enemies. I used these to create different people and races, which added a lot of life and variety to my playing time. I could grind better, fight harder, get all the quests I wanted, finish all quests and complete whatever challenge I came across along the way.

There are many other tweaks and mods out there that allow you to do the same thing, but what I'm talking about is the ability to rename anything in your inventory or in the world. This is pretty cool because it allows you to do whatever you want in the game with items you already have and/or by changing their names. It also restores the ability to use formatting tags so you can have unique items without having to buy every crate in the game.

So, if you've been looking for a way to effectively utilize your stuff, level up, customize and even name your enemies in Fallout 4 then I recommend giving a file renaming plugin a try. It will make your gaming experience much more fun and add a lot of variety as you explore the vast wastes of humanity. Good luck and happy gaming.
