It is designed to remove the green notification bar that appears at the top of Google Hangout windows when screensharing with someone. With Remove Screenshare Notification for Hangouts™, users can still choose to stop sharing their screen by clicking the screenshare icon located in the left side panel of the Hangouts window. It is worth noting that if users encounter a black bar at the bottom of the screen while using this add-on, they can easily fix it by resizing the Hangouts window in any direction.
