Upon arriving on Vortex Island, you discover that five humble Whicken tribe warriors can transform into fifteen distinct Spirit Towers—each able to wield elemental magic or unleash devastating ranged attacks.

In Relic Guardian - Tower Defense, the island unfolds across five themed regions, from sun-drenched coral reefs to shadowed fungal caverns. Each area introduces new threats: luminescent jellyfish that short-circuit laser towers, rock golems immune to blunt strikes, and swarming insectoid hordes needing area-of-effect magic. As waves of enemies surge, you employ Wish Power to shrink bulky towers into portable statuettes, sprint across lanes, and redeploy defenses at critical choke points.

Your most valuable ally is Priestess Pani, a formidable companion with nine distinct forms. One moment she wields healing auras to restore weakened towers, the next she transforms into a blazing phoenix, diving into enemy ranks with searing flame. Between battles, the mysterious sculptor Gigi offers dozens of upgrades—splicing elemental traits onto towers or unlocking chain-lightning spells that leap across foes.

Boss encounters punctuate the campaign, each demanding precise coordination between tower placement and hero action. A sky serpent swoops in to dismantle unprepared defenses, while a colossal stone sentinel requires you to dash between weakened points and tower boosts. Success hinges on mastering both macro tower strategy and micro hero control. However, there is a steep learning curve for tower synergies.
