Users can participate by signing up for a Boots Scan2Recycle account, after which they can easily add and deposit recyclables at participating stores. The app rewards Boots Advantage Card members with points for their recycling efforts, contributing to a broader environmental initiative. Since its launch in 2020, the scheme has successfully recovered significant amounts of plastic, ensuring materials are recycled responsibly and do not end up in landfills.
