RawCut: AI Video Maker is a free multimedia app that uses AI to create short videos from the footage already in your camera roll. Simply describe the type of video you want, and the AI searches through your clips to find the moments that best match your prompt.

From prompt to finished clip

Unlike many AI video creation tools, RawCut: AI Video Maker doesn't rely on stock footage or AI-generated visuals. Instead, it works entirely with your own videos, giving the finished result a more personal feel. You can also customize the video's length, style, and text, then make further edits or regenerate the video if you want a different result.

The app supports 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 aspect ratios, making it easy to create content for Reels, Shorts, and other social media platforms. The main drawback is that it's designed primarily for short-form videos. Editing tools are also fairly limited compared to dedicated video editing apps.

Best for short videos

If editing videos feels overwhelming, RawCut: AI Video Maker offers an easier starting point. It's particularly useful for beginners, casual creators, and social media users who want polished short videos without learning complicated editing software. Whether you're documenting vacations, creating lifestyle content, or sharing everyday memories, this app can save you a lot of time.
