Radio Mariam-Arabic is the first Radio Maria in Arabic, founded in December 2015 with the aim of giving Arab Christians a voice and supporting evangelization and peace in the Middle East. In response to Pope Francis' call to help Arab Christians during this difficult time, Radio Mariam broadcasts began with the opening of the Jubilee of Mercy.

This radio station serves as a symbol of hope for suffering and persecuted Christians, providing support and consolation to the persecuted Christian community in war-torn Muslim countries such as Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Through web and satellite broadcasts from a central studio and mobile studios managed by local dioceses, Radio Mariam-Arabic aims to prevent the disappearance of ancient Christian communities in the Middle East due to deportations and forced displacement.

Radio Mariam-Arabic serves as a platform for Arabic-speaking Christians to share their culture and religious heritage, representing the diverse churches to which they belong. It acts as a voice for and from the Arabic-speaking Christians, spreading their message of peace and reconciliation to communities throughout the Middle East and the world.
