Rachel's GDPR Consent Manager is a free Chrome extension developed by Rachel_hxh. The extension is designed to help users understand and manage GDPR consent cookies. It is part of an academic research study conducted by KCL, UoS, IIT KGP to explore how GDPR consent is managed by users.

Upon installation, the extension starts analyzing cookies locally on your computer, ensuring the security of your data. To activate the auto or manual protection, simply open a new tab, navigate to a website, and then check back to the extension dashboard.

The extension offers a "Main Menu" panel where it automatically manages GDPR consent settings for all websites you visit. However, you have the option to exclude specific sites from auto protection by unchecking them. Additionally, you can easily re-include websites and withdraw previous consent through a drag and drop feature.

In the "More details about sites" panel, the extension provides information on the number of cookies stored in cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage, along with a summarized classification result.

The "Show all Cookies" panel utilizes machine learning models to classify cookies into four categories: Strictly Necessary, Functionality, Performance, and Targeting/Advertising Cookies. The extension uses a Multinomial Naive Bayes classifier, which provides over 90% accuracy in prediction. You can view cookies grouped by categories or by visited websites.
