QR Student is a utility app developed by QUICK RESPONSE j.d.o.o. that allows both students and professors to easily keep tabs on attendance. With the app, professors can verify student attendance by scanning QR codes, while students can view their attendance records and receive notifications from professors.

Records attendance in a scan

QR Student makes tracking student attendance quick and seamless. Professors can enter "admin mode" by scanning their unique QR, then proceed to scan each student's code to record their attendance. This streamlined process eliminates the time-consuming manual attendance taking, giving professors more time teaching and less time on administrative tasks.

Meanwhile, students can check their own attendance records so they never have to wonder which classes they may have missed. That said, the app requires users to have a compatible smartphone which could be a barrier for some. For those without smartphones, the app’s functionality would be completely inaccessible.

An attendance app that makes the grade

QR Student is an innovative app that provides an efficient solution for tracking student attendance. While the app requires both students and professors to have a smartphone to utilize its features, the functionality it provides can save valuable time that can be better-spent teaching, learning, and engaging with course material.
