QR Cake is a dynamic QR code generator and management platform. Unlike static QR codes — which lock the destination into the printed pattern and can never be changed — every QR Cake code routes scans through a server-side redirect that the user controls. The printed QR image stays the same forever, but the destination it points to can be edited at any time from the QR Cake dashboard.

The platform supports QR codes for websites, PDF documents, videos (uploaded files or video URLs), images (JPG / PNG / GIF), audio files, downloadable files of any common type, link lists (a single QR code that opens a menu of multiple links), and digital business cards (vCards that save contact details straight to a phone). Each content type has a dedicated editor flow and is included on every plan — they are not paywalled add-ons.

Every QR Cake code includes scan analytics (counts, timing) and full visual customization: foreground and background colors, gradients, a center logo, configurable corner-eye styles, and frame shapes. The free plan allows up to 5 dynamic QR codes per account with no expiry; free scans display a brief ad before redirecting to the destination, and paid plans remove the ad and raise the code limit substantially.

QR Cake runs in any modern browser on any device, with no software to install and no mobile app required. The platform is available in 35 languages, includes a REST API for programmatic management, and integrates with Canva via an official app.
