Fare negotiation is no longer necessary with Q8 Taxi, as the app features a GPS-based fare meter that displays the kilometer and ride fare on the screen when the ride starts.

Some key features of Q8 Taxi include the ability to pick up from the user's current location or choose a different location by moving the locator. Users can also type the first few letters of the drop-off location and choose from the suggested location list. The app displays the number of available taxis and the estimated arrival time of the nearest taxi to the user's location. On trip confirmation, users can see the photograph and details of the driver. The GPS-based fare meter calculates the kilometer and fare, providing transparency to the users. Real-time tracking of the taxi's location and the shortest distance to the destination is also available. Users receive an e-receipt via email for their payment, and they can keep track of their ride history and payments within the app. Additionally, users can rate the quality of their ride and access 24x7 customer support.

To sign in to the app, users need to provide their mobile number, and the system will generate an OTP (One-Time Password) sent via SMS to the registered mobile number. Once the OTP is verified successfully, users can access all the features of Q8 Taxi.
