"Ptice na dlanu" is an educational app designed to help users identify bird species in Serbia and the surrounding areas. Whether you've spotted a bird and are unsure of its species or simply want to learn more about the birds in your region, this app is a valuable resource.

The app features a database of 260 of the most common bird species found in Serbia, allowing users to narrow down their identification by selecting the bird's shape, habitat, and colors. Users can also search for birds by name or family, including synonyms and English or Latin names.

Each bird species is accompanied by illustrations, a personal profile, and a brief description. For some species, users can even listen to their calls or watch video recordings (internet connection required).

In addition to bird identification, "Ptice na dlanu" provides tips and advice for birdwatching. The app is completely free to use, making it accessible to anyone with an interest in birding.

"Ptice na dlanu" was one of the 10 winners of the Centrifuga competition in 2017, as part of the Superste program.
