What does a person do when they find out they’re going to die? The answer is, they find a way to live on in the memory of those they love. We all want to be remembered by those we love, so we keep trying to make a lasting impression on them. What is it about a person that makes them worthy of being loved? Is it their looks, their personality, or their style of behavior? Is it their intelligence, their wisdom, or their kindness? It’s probably all of those things. But we also want to be loved for who we are, not for what we are.

In relationships, we are looking for a person who can make us happy and help us to grow. We want to be able to give them our love, trust, and confidence.
