Protect It! is a puzzle game that takes place on a honeycomb-like grid. Some of the spaces on this grid have icons. There are three types of these in all: "good" icons, "bad" icons, and "treasure" icons. The object is to position good icons so that the bad icons will be prevented from reaching the treasure.

An element of strategy

The game seems simple at first, but there is an element of strategy involved, similar to a board game. Each time you create a good icon, the bad icon will take one more step. This means that you will need to decide which treasures are most vulnerable and protect those first. The levels become more elaborate over time.

Complete missions for more points

Protect It! includes "missions" that you can complete for additional points. These include completing a level in under four taps, surrounding multiple bad icons (in levels with more than one enemy), and completing a level without removing the treasure icons. The more missions you complete in a level, the better your score.

A mix of easy and hard

The difficulty level in Protect It! varies heavily between levels. Some are complete pushovers, while others (particularly those featuring more than one robber) are a lot trickier. The game should keep its players occupied.
