Primer by Google is a free mobile app that aims to help newcomers to the world of marketing, master some key lessons and help their businesses succeed. The app consists of a series of short marketing tips and lessons created by Google marketing staff. They're intentionally delivered in plain jargon-free conversational English.

Primer by Google is simple to use, just tap on a particular topic to open up the lesson. Individual topics are short and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to read they're intended to be read during train rides on lunch breaks and so on.

The app tracks your progress through the articles so that you can return to them later if need be. Each lesson is followed by a practice or development activity called a next step. Articles range from introductions to basic elements of marketing to more advanced subjects although there won't be anything here to astonish people who have marketing experience.
