Prescription for Sleep is a medical application that helps you to get a good night's sleep. This app was developed with the guidance of a renowned composer, Norihiko Hibino, in order to help you achieve the state of sleep known as the hypnagogic trance. This is a state in which you are both asleep and awake. It is a natural state, and you can enter it simply by listening to the sound of a mother's heartbeat, which is found in the womb.

The application consists of four stages of sleep, and the goal is to guide you to the relaxed state necessary to enter the first stage. This is done through soothing imagery and therapeutic music, recorded live on acoustic instruments at a rhythm that recreates the pulse of a mother's heartbeat as heard from the womb.
