PopupFilter is a simple and lightweight add-on designed with WebExtensions API. It prevents the intempestive opening of popups from websites. It is useful in situations in which popups prevent you from doing things you need to do in order to fully experience your website.

PopupFilter doesn't access your browser history or personal data.

You can choose between 3 modes such as Normal, Confirm, and Blocking. Normal mode allows you to browse as you normally would while allowing you to open new windows and tabs. Confirm mode asks for your permission before opening these new windows. Meanwhile, Blocking mode completely prevents the opening of new tabs or windows that are opened when clicking on website links or scripts.
