What is OCR?

OCR (also known as image to text, or photo to text) is a technology that can extract the text data from an image file. OCR can recognize both text and numeric data.

How does it work?

To take a photo of a document and extract text data, you just need to select the “Document” option from the main menu, select your document from the list of available documents, adjust the document's size and then click “Take Photo”.

When you are done, you will see a new menu on the right side of the screen. On this menu, there is an option to “Extract Text”.
