Police Simulator: Gun War Duty takes place in a large open city map where crime is high and the illegal distribution of firearms is rampant. You assume the role of a police officer tasked with putting a stop to these criminal activities, which are born from gangs led by the mafia. Check with the mission debriefing board for criminal activity, gear up, and hit the streets.

There are diverse missions to take on in this action game, from hostage rescue to high-speed chases on the water to everything else in between. Before heading out, customize your loadout with 20 unique weapons to handle every situation, including pistols, machine guns, and even bazookas. The experience is complemented by intuitive controls and rounded out by detailed environments and a dynamic weather system.

What's more, you get to control 52 types of vehicles to help you navigate and get around the city and take on more demanding missions in the air or water. Each one boasts detailed interiors and cockpits from a first-person perspective. However, the game is ridden with various little bugs and visual glitches that sometimes hinder and negatively impact the gameplay experience.

Police Simulator: Gun War Duty offers one of the most robust and immersive experiences in the police simulator subgenre. From its large map to the varied missions and the large arsenal of weapons and vehicles available, there's a lot to experience with this game. While it does have its fair share of issues, they're not enough to prevent you from giving it a try.
