Poised is a subscription-based tool designed to provide feedback and analysis on recorded meetings. Through the use of a range of AI functions, the system will point out weaknesses and areas of improvement in your performance.

The app is designed to work in conjunction with Google Meet - Secure Video Meetings, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other similar apps. If you are a user of these tools and would like to improve your performance, then Poised may be of use.

On-screen speech advice

Poised is designed so that it will run in the background of your recording session while giving constant on-screen feedback on multiple areas of your performance. The feedback covers a number of different areas of speech, from tone to the use of filler words. If you're fast, you can adjust as the feedback is presented to you on-screen.

Data reports on your performance

Even if you are not quite fast enough to adapt during the meeting, you can still take advantage of another function offered by Poised: the in-depth reports it provides once you're finished recording. This grades you on a number of key areas, thereby helping you to improve your performance in the future.

Eye contact, interruptions, empathy, and more

When analyzing your performance, Poised covers more than just obvious areas like speed and pace. Its AI is programmed to also analyze various areas, such as inspiration, storytelling, empathy, emotion, and confidence, and will analyze everything from eye contact to interruptions to help you smoothen and perfect your meeting performance.

Available as a free trial

Poised has some weaknesses, like the tendency of the live feedback function to lag, and sometimes, it gives you advice after you have made an error. However, you may find that the strong points make up for this. Since the tool is available as a free trial, you can always try it before subscribing.
