As a side project, I am working on PocketTube. This extension will allow you to create collections of your YouTube subscriptions. The main advantage of this app is the UI. It makes it really easy to do stuff like adding videos to your watchlist or to a playlist, making the subscriptions accessible from the main interface. It also allows you to organize or group your subscriptions according to their topics, so it's easier for you to find them.
