PocketCIMA is an iPhone application that allows you to quickly search for information about authorized medications in Spain. With its built-in search engine, you can search by name, national code, registration number, laboratory, and active ingredient. You can even perform searches by scanning the barcode or datamatrix code on the packaging. Additionally, you can search for any supply issues that may affect specific medication presentations.

The PocketCIMA app provides detailed information about each medication, such as whether it requires a prescription or its selling price. It also includes access to the technical data sheet and package leaflet.

PocketCIMA directly queries the CIMA database, making it useful for both citizens and medical professionals.

For medical professionals or pharmacists, the app also includes an accounting function. You can scan the datamatrix codes of medications to automate the entry control process, quickly exporting the scanned product's data in CSV format. This data includes the batch number, serial number, and even the expiration date of each unit.
