Play Along is a free Chrome extension designed for guitar players who want to play along to YouTube videos. This compact extension is activated when you listen to music on YouTube, and it seamlessly integrates with popular guitar tab websites like Ultimate Guitar and Chordify.

Once you load a YouTube video, Play Along automatically searches Ultimate Guitar for the corresponding chords and tabs. If a match is found, the chords and tabs will be displayed on the screen, allowing you to follow along and play the guitar in sync with the video. However, if no match is found, you can simply click on the "Chords" and "Tabs" buttons to open the search page in Ultimate Guitar and find the desired chords and tabs manually.

In addition to Ultimate Guitar, Play Along also provides the option to navigate to the Chordify page, giving you more flexibility in finding the chords and tabs that you need.

Using Play Along is easy. Simply open YouTube, search for a song, and start playing the video. While on the YouTube page, click on the "Play Along" Chrome extension icon, and you will see options to lookup tabs and chords.
