Plane Evolution is a free game for all ages in which the player takes control of an airplane that must be launched and then maneuvered to a safe landing. Along the way, you can earn money to upgrade your plane and give it a new look.

This is not a serious airplane-based sim like Microsoft Flight Simulator. Instead, it combines the theme of airplanes with the mechanics of wacky obstacle course games like Gauntlet of IRE. Even before you take flight, you'll need to navigate a cluttered runway.

Two stages for each level

Levels in Plane Evolution have two stages. The first stage is a simple matter of navigating your plane left and right on a runway, trying to collect money. Sometimes this takes the form of cash piles; other times, as green windows. Watch out for red windows that deduct your money. More cash makes your plane upgrade.

Taking flight

The second stage of each level sees your plane taking flight. First, you will need to swipe on a timer to ensure that your plan has maximum power when it launches. Doing this is trickier than it might sound. Next, you'll try to maneuver the plane onto the roof of a building. Different buildings have different score values.

Unlockable perks

By earning money, you can upgrade three areas of gameplay (price, income, and sling) that will help you to make still more money. If you land a plane safely at the end of a round, you'll have the option between selling or keeping it. Kept planes are stored in a virtual hangar, which you can visit as an air hostess.

Simple gaming

Plane Evolution is a basic game, and the levels lack variety. Still, the range of unlockable skins for both your plane and the air hostess character helps in offering some replay value to this free title.
