Pixelborn’s unofficial Lorcana table

Pixelborn, created by pixelborntcg, also known as Pavel Kolev, was a fan-made digital client for the Disney Lorcana TCG. It offered online matches, automated rule handling, deck-building tools, and competitive play features for players who wanted a convenient space for deck testing and remote practice. However, the project was unofficial, and its Lorcana support ended after intellectual property concerns from Disney representatives.

Rules, ink, and card chaos made easier

Pixelborn used an automated rules engine to handle many card interactions, track inkwell status, and maintain lore counters during matches. This helped reduce manual tracking and made online games smoother for players learning or testing the Lorcana TCG. Built-in deck management also let users assemble and save lists from the supported card pool, making it useful for repeated testing across different matchups.

Ladder climbing without a local table

Ranked ladder and matchmaking gave Pixelborn a strong role in competitive practice, pairing players for online matches and recording results through a ladder-style system. This helped the client become a popular space for remote play, especially for players without easy access to a local Lorcana group. Some community events also used the platform during its active period, though its unofficial status always left it exposed to IP-related risk.

Wider access with a few rough edges

Pixelborn primarily ran on desktop systems, with some users relying on manual installation methods to access it elsewhere. The developer updated the client during its active run to support newer Disney Lorcana cards, helping players test evolving decks and strategies. However, setup outside its main environment was less straightforward, and the client depended on an unofficial project structure rather than an official digital service.

A fan project that filled a real gap

Pixelborn became one of the most important unofficial tools for Disney Lorcana online play before Lorcana support ended. It gave players a practical way to test decks, practice matchups, and take part in remote community play. Its biggest strength was accessibility, but its biggest limitation was also clear: it was never an official or permanent Lorcana platform.
