Pinyinify is a Chrome extension developed by lsyu.cs.extensions that offers a convenient way to view pinyin pronunciation for selected Chinese text. By simply highlighting Chinese text with your cursor, the extension will display the corresponding pinyin pronunciation. It automatically detects Chinese text and provides the pronunciation for the selected characters.

This tool includes a feature where if a large amount of text is selected, a scroll bar appears to navigate through all the pinyin pronunciations. In cases where characters have multiple possible pronunciations, Pinyinify displays the first possible pronunciation. The extension relies on a Chinese-to-pinyin API for this functionality, ensuring accurate pronunciation assistance.
