It's one of the most stable, easy-to-use, and comprehensive photo editors available for Windows. It supports all major image types and formats and is designed with speed in mind. It has all the basic editing tools, allowing you to enhance your pictures without any specialized knowledge. However, it doesn’t have the same depth of features found in pro image editors. 

What PhotoPad Pro Edition offers

During installation, the app will prompt you to install and download Google Chrome and set it as your default browser, but it's completely optional though. The program features a simple interface with a large editing field. On top of it, is the file menu, with all the options easily accessible to you. You can change each menu option using the toolbar display option, so you can display the functions you frequently use.

PhotoPad Pro Edition has a decent selection of both basic and advanced tools. Most options are easily set with a slider, allowing you to easily access everything you need to transform your photos. More, you can instantly see how it changes your image and easily undo the changes you’ve made. As noted, the app also supports a large selection of file formats. It is also possible for you to edit pictures directly from your DLSR camera. 

However, while it can cater to beginners, the app comes up a little short for those well-versed in photo editing that requires a bit more out of their photo editor. Its feature set does not match the likes of the ever-popular and robust Photoshop. Also, while its tools are varied, it does not offer the same level of accuracy as something like Lightroom.
