PhotoCartoon is a multimedia tool that will transform your photos into a cartoon version of itself. From casual snapshots to high-definition photos, PhotoCartoon can make your photos appear like a hyperrealistic drawing, an oil painting, or a cartoon. With 100 effects available in its catalog, you try out all sorts of different styles to your images. All the effects are available for free, while other functions such as printing are available in the pro version. 

Personalize your photos

PhotoCartoon is a conversion software that can apply different effects on your photos without sacrificing its original quality or resolution. This means it will not compress your photo once you download it. The free demo version of PhotoCartoon is available for Windows in EXE format. Once the program is installed, it will automatically launch and present to you its main page. 

You will find that the interface is well-organized, making it suitable for users without experience in photography. The first step to using this is to click on the Add button. This will allow you to choose a photo as well as filters. The photo should appear in the center of the screen, letting you know that it has been uploaded to the program. 

This also means you can start selecting one of the effects found on the left side of the screen. There are several options that classify as cartoon effects; different styles of animation are available in this program. There are also more traditional styles such as hand drawing, pencil drawing, painting effect, and many others. For example, those that prefer a minimalist appearance may like the sketch effect. 

Pick your version 

As mentioned, there is a wide selection of effects to choose from. There are effects that are more camp than others such as the cartoon-caricature effect. This effect is more suitable for photos taken in portrait mode so it can emphasize the facial features compared to the body. 

Another benefit of the desktop application is its ability to save converted photos in either its original quality or in HD resolution. While you may share soft copies of your photos online, you can only print photos from PhotoCartoon if you availed of their pro version. 

All the effects are available in the free and pro version. The difference between the two is the number of photos you can generate unlimited images and print them in the full edition of the program. It costs 29 USD and can be purchased through the trial version. The Buy Now button is easy to find as it is in the top right corner of the screen.
