Phase-Timer is a Chrome extension designed to enhance the management of meetings by providing a visual timer for different phases. It allows users to divide meetings into segments such as 'Discussion' and 'Summary', showing remaining time and progress for each phase. The extension features a draggable floating UI that can be displayed on any webpage, making it versatile for use in platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams.

The timer does not automatically progress to the next phase; instead, it records the variance in timing when users manually advance to the next phase. This feature allows for a detailed analysis of meeting efficiency. Users can define phases with simple text input and benefit from privacy features that ensure no external data is sent. With its focus on facilitating structured discussions, Phase-Timer is ideal for daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and design reviews.
