Phantasy Star II is a role playing fantasy game that presents players with a detailed world to explore. The game follows a familiar formula, with tough bosses to fight at the end of each level and plenty of surprises and treasure to find. Although Phantasy Star II was at the top of its class when it was first released, the graphics now leave quite a lot to be desired. However, anyone who is a fan of retro games will find that Phantasy Star II is still engaging and addictive enough to hold there attention and it is worth taking for a spin.
