The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDT) has created the Permit Test application for drivers to use to get a feel for how much they know about driving in Minnesota. This application allows drivers to take practice tests and see how well they do.

How to take the test:

1. Download the app.

2. If you already have a license, select the state (MnDT will be testing for all states except for Minnesota) and click the "I have a license" button.

3. If you do not have a license, select the state (MnDT will be testing for all states except for Minnesota) and click the "I don't have a license" button.

4. After taking the test, you will see your score and your knowledge level.
