Perception is a unique first-person adventure game that will take you on a horrifying journey. The game is developed by The Deep End Games, an independent video game development studio located in Boston. The team comprises of veteran developers who have contributed to popular franchises such as Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Dead Space, and more. In Perception, you play as Cassie, a blind heroine who uses her extraordinary hearing and wits to unravel the mysteries of an abandoned estate that haunts her dreams.

Cassie discovers the abandoned mansion in Gloucester, MA after months of research. However, Echo Bluff is worse than her nightmares. The estate has been tormented by a ghastly presence over generations, and now it hunts Cassie. In the game, you will "see" using echolocation, where every sound creates a visual. You will engage in a deadly game of hide and seek with relentless enemies, including The Presence. You will also trigger radical change at the Estate at Echo Bluff each time you solve its mysteries. You can even travel back through history to exorcise your own nightmares.
