The PeopleSync Client app is an Android CardDAV client for businesses. It synchronizes address lists and contacts from the messageconcept PeopleSync server software. The contacts are synchronized to the default contact store on your Android device, making them accessible from the default contacts app and your favorite 3rd party apps.

Designed for business usage, the app allows for central administration through the IT staff. In a typical scenario, address lists to sync by a certain user are provisioned on the server side. The app syncs all available address lists on the server.

If you are not using PeopleSync Server, the app recommends using DAVx⁵ from bitfire web engineering or other free or commercial apps. This app fills the gap in Android, as CardDAV is supported natively on iOS devices.
