PDX Bus is an award-winning application that provides arrival times for public transportation in Portland, Oregon. This free app utilizes TriMet's live tracking data to display accurate arrival times on the iPhone. Users can bookmark frequently used stops, view recently accessed stops, and get detailed information about en-route arrivals.

The app features interactive rail maps that show the stops for MAX, WES, and Streetcar lines. It also includes embedded maps that display the locations of stops and, when available, the last known position of buses or trains. Users can use GPS to locate nearby stops or rail stations and browse routes and stops to see the entire route on the map. The app also provides links to TriMet's route information and displays rider alerts and detours.

PDX Bus offers additional features such as a "Nighttime visibility flasher" that can be used to make oneself visible to bus drivers at night. It also includes a trip planning feature, QR code reader for bus stops and stations, and specially formatted text for the iPhone 3GS VoiceOver accessibility feature.
