All You Need

As the full feature version of PDFElement Standard, PDFElement Pro aims to provide everything you might need when working with PDF documents. Of course you can open and read PDF files, however a number of other features are included, such as data extraction, allowing you to convert scanned documents into digital data. Batch data extraction is also an option. It is also possible to convert PDFs into a range of file formats, include HTML and RTF files. Assisting in the above features is the inclusion of OCR, or Optical Character Recognition, which allows the software to convert text in an image (such as a scanned document) into regular text that can be saved, copied, and edited. There are also features to edit and annotate PDF files, as well as create and edit forms.

Not Quite Everything

While PDFElement 6 Pro does have an impressive range of features, it doesn't support conversion conversion to Word documents, a particularly glaring omission. The app is also listed as "Free", however a quite steep fee is required to unlock the most useful features.
