PatternedAI is a text-to-image generator. Like Craiyon and other popular image generators, it uses AI to analyze keyword entries and produce relevant, royalty-free, and original images that depict the user’s chosen style of graphic pattern.

It blends the efficiency of image generator technology with the inspirational effect of a virtual idea board like Muzli 2 and the flexibility of parametric pattern tools like PatterNodes, but without visual scripting. This enables users with little to no design experience to make artwork and monetize it without running complex and pricey software.

How does it work?

Like other web-based AI image generators, it enables users to input positive and negative keyboards to generate up to four original patterns at a time. It also allows them to select from five existing styles: floral, geometric, swirls, tropical, and vintage. Users can generate similar patterns and add them to their list of favorites.

Users can create an account to access ten free credits (one credit per image) and use images with attribution. Alternatively, they can sign up for the pay-as-you-go plan to generate up to 100 images that can be used for commercial purposes without attribution.

PatternedAI’s greatest asset is the fact that users can start generating images from scratch or from existing artwork within seconds, sampling patterns for use with clothes, furnishings, decorative items, social media backgrounds, website content, etc. That said, it can only generate up to four images at a time with low variety and often with misshaped or fused elements.
