We present to you Parveen Shakir, a renowned poet and the second poet laureate of Pakistan. This app includes all of her poems.

As a young girl, Shakir was influenced by her teachers who would inspire her and inspire her to become a poet. However, she would only start writing at a later age and never really had the chance to become well-known. Even though she never really sought attention, her poems did make her famous and they were also well-received. She became a renowned poet, writer, and educator in Pakistan and she would work for several years in the Government of Pakistan.
