Parchis is a strategy board game that was invented in India. The game is played on a board made of two intersecting paths. A path is made up of two lanes, and each lane is made up of several segments. Each segment is a square that is either empty or has a token on it. The object of the game is to get your four tokens from the start to the finish according to the rolls of a single die.

This game was played between the Pandavas and Kauravas. The Kauravas were the king's army, and the Pandavas were the king's army. In the beginning, both the king and the army were at the starting point. The king moved first, and the army followed him.
