Parametric Trusses is a useful tool for the design and analysis of truss structures. The application allows the user to set the values of 35 parameters (geometrical, mechanical, support, and loads) and the resulting structural behavior (reactions, forces, stresses, and displacements).

The application displays the influence of each of the parameters on the structure, enabling the user to easily determine the optimum value for each one. It also allows the user to change the value of any parameter and the resulting structural behavior will be updated and presented to them. This enables the user to determine the optimum value for each one and to optimize their design.
