Papa's Cupcakeria To Go! is a strategy mobile video game wherein you get to run a wonderful cupcake shop. Developed by Flipline Studios, this 2D game is the fourth installment of the To Go! Series from the hit restaurant time-management game franchise, Papa Louie. 

Similar to Papa's Mocharia To Go! and Papa’s Burgeria To Go!, Papa's Cupcakeria To Go! features classic time-management gameplay—wherein you have to collect orders, create them, and deliver them to your waiting customers while the clock ticks. While some of the touchscreen functions can be wonky, it’s an overall fun game.

Where can I play Papa’s Cupcakeria?

The Papa Louie game franchise is a classic collection of browser games—mostly ranging between gameplay genres such as platformer and restaurant management. Its popularity led to some of the games gradually being released and expanded for other platforms, which was fortuitous as web support for Flash was eventually discontinued. Almost all of its games are now available on mobile and are no longer free to play.

However, this doesn’t mean that they’re any less fun. This still holds true for Papa's Cupcakeria To Go!, the mobile version of Papa's Cupcakeria—although the major difference is that you can’t create a custom character here. Still, this new version adds in gameplay and controls optimized for smaller screens—especially with the four workstations you can easily switch between. There are still some hiccups when it comes to touchscreen controls, though.

The premise is simple: bake and decorate cupcakes for each customer to rack up points and unlock more and more items for you to improve your shop with. This mobile version adds new holidays and their own cupcake designs, new ingredients, and new gameplay mechanics for decorating. Additionally, you can earn Mini-Game tickets and receive decor prizes from the daily games. There are also dozens of customers to win over.

Worth the price

Overall, Papa's Cupcakeria To Go! is a great mobile version of the classic browser game from this series. Not only does it add several new items and even a mechanic, but it’s also been adjusted for easy mobile gameplay. While it doesn’t include the option for a custom character and the controls can be wonky, it’s still a solid game for any fan of the franchise and the genre.
