Panzer War : DE is a premium action game for mobile devices from developer ShanghaiWindy. It's a third-person shooter based around military-grade tanks ranging in models from the World Wars to the modern era. In it, players will control highly modifiable gears of war and battle others in large open maps.

Just like with World of Tanks Blitz and Modern Tank Force: War Hero, Panzer War : DE focuses on realism with its highly detailed vehicle models and a module-based tuning system. It offers multiple game modes to choose from across a variety of map locations and environments.

Blitzkrieg

Tanks are tools of mass destruction used during times of war. Despite their ill-fated purpose, people have developed a distinct fascination for them. It has spawned a hobby of experts, model builders, and enthusiasts eager to know more. Its influence has even reached the world of gamers. If you belong to the latter group, then Panzer War : DE is a game made for you.

In this game, you will battle against other tanks on large-scale maps. There are more than 50 tanks from WW2 to the modern era to choose from. The game employs a module-based system to let you customize your vehicle, each one affecting various factors, such as maneuverability, firepower, and range. There are four game modes to choose from, namely, 7v7, Skirmish(Respawn), Historical Mode, and Play Field.

What's more, the game supports mods, and there are hundreds available that were made by the community, adding to its replayability and lasting appeal. One thing to note, though, is that it suffers from frequent crashes as reported by others, particularly when trying to customize and install new modules on tanks. Hopefully, this gets addressed as soon as possible in an update.

Realistic yet still fun

It's hard to balance realistic gameplay mechanics while still making the experience fun, but Panzer War : De did just that.
