What is Palamedes?

Palamedes is a Greek backgammon game that has been played by people for thousands of years. In its purest form, the game is played with 3 dice. The player starts with an equal amount of money on each of the 3 tables. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible before the time runs out. Each of the tables is assigned a number of dice, and for each die thrown, the player receives an amount of money. If the player has 3 or fewer dice in the corresponding table, he or she receives nothing.
