Turn-based puzzle game about unlocking doors
Paklyx is a premium puzzle game coming from developer Rushed Idea Studio. In it, players will need to guide an old-fashioned keyhole as it navigates a world full of buttons to find the right path to its own key. A demo version is available to newcomers for a preview of the gameplay and to see what it’s all about.
Out of place
In Paklyx, take control of a keyhole in a world of buttons and tactile mechanisms, looking for the key that unlocks it. What makes this puzzle adventure stand out is its distinct turn-based approach to gameplay, where you’ll solve problems in stages. To add to the challenge, there’s a countdown timer that decreases with each move you make, but you can collect unique pickups that can delay it.
Take on nearly 100 levels across 10 chapters, and get accustomed to and use 10 unique puzzle mechanics you need to leverage in order to solve problems and reach your goal. Despite its charming and friendly visuals, this game is deceptively easy. If you’re new to these types of games, you’ll have to contend with the high difficulty, especially in later stages of your playthrough.
Lock and key
To sum up, Paklyx is a charming puzzle adventure with interesting turn-based gameplay and different systems and mechanisms that help keep things fun and fresh. There are also plenty of levels to take on and test how fast you can think and come up with solutions with the added pressure of time counting down. If you’re up for a challenge, give this one a shot.
