Paid Memberships Pro is a free membership management plugin for WordPress sites that’s similar to OptinMonster, WooCommerce Memberships, and Restrict Content Pro. It’s ideal for websites that have started offering membership levels to visitors, where you can set different pricing plans per level. As soon as they complete the checkout, they’ll instantly become registered for various aspects of the site.

If there’s content you only make available at different levels, you can set the appropriate restrictions. There are various payment gateways it integrates with, such as PayPal and Stripe. If any of the users forget their login details, the plugin includes a password recovery feature.

Add membership plans to your site

If you start a website where you plan on having different membership levels, Paid Memberships Pro presents several tools that will help you establish your site. You’ll still need to complete the content and entice visitors to join, but the plugin does the rest of the work. They’ll be able to choose which level they want to be, head to the checkout and pay, and become registered on your site. You can also manage everything from a central console in the WordPress admin area.

Flexible Payment Levels

The top benefit of Paid Memberships Pro is that you can set the payment levels you need for your site. For instance, there are options for one-off, recurring, free trials, renewals, and discounts. You can also set which payment gateways you want to offer your members, which provides more flexibility.

Connect with third-party services

You might need to connect to third-party plugins or services to help manage the membership levels and marketing campaigns. Paid Memberships Pro includes over 75 add-ons so that you don’t have to hunt for a way to integrate them. Some of the more popular ones include Mailchimp, Manage Affiliates, Zapier Integration, and social media apps.

Manage your members efficiently

Paid Memberships Pro opens up your site to applying membership levels across your visitors based on different plans. You don’t need to work via different blocks and develop your own system, which can take months to perfect.

However, it may be challenging to establish if you’re never done this before.
