The 'Owlbear Cub Familiar for Baldur's Gate 3' mod introduces an enchanting companion to the game, enhancing the player's experience with unique abilities and gameplay mechanics. Once the owlbear cub joins the camp, players receive a chew toy which allows them to summon the cub familiar using the 'Find Familiar: Owlbear Cub' spell. This familiar is not just for show; it possesses the ability to burrow under obstacles and forage for essential camp supplies, making it a valuable asset during gameplay.

This mod is designed for seamless integration, allowing players to add it to existing games without issues, provided the cub is dismissed before the mod is removed. The familiar will respawn safe and sound if it meets an unfortunate end, similar to other companions. Players are encouraged to utilize the cub's burrowing ability creatively, although caution is advised when approaching critical game events.
