Overdrawn is a premium card game from developer Rethuna Games. It is a unique twist to the classic Blackjack experience by introducing roguelike battle elements to the gameplay. In it, players will build a hand of cards with random values that they can choose to play and add to their total, with the hopes of reaching or getting close to 21 for max damage. 

A twist on Blackjack 

In a nutshell, Overdrawn turns the classic Blackjack card game into a thrilling battle experience wherein you will fight with a hand of cards that have unique and random values that you'll combine as you try to aim to reach as close to 21 as you can to win the round and deal damage to your opponents.

Collect over 100 cards and build a deck with unique effects and properties, including increasing damage or gaining a shield that absorbs attacks. You can also unlock permanent abilities through DNA upgrades for future runs. On another note, the experience is not particularly long, and you're looking at about five hours of gameplay. It does offer good replayability, though, so there's that. 

Fresh and fun 

If you're a fan of Balatro and are looking for a new game that offers something similar, Overdrawn is a nice roguelike deckbuilder based on Blackjack, this time around. It takes the traditional rule and creates a battle experience around it for fun and engaging results. Despite its short runtime, it's still well worth checking out.
